The source was discovered in the 60s by local farmers. The first hole was drilled in 1974, after a number of geological investigations and in 1999 our deepest well (105m) was drilled. This is the well we continue to use for Aqua Nobel’s spring water today.

The most recent inland ice left behind the Halland Ridge and the Southern Ridge  ridges. These ridges filter down the water into the underground rock layers and large water reservoirs. This is where the mineralization of the water happens. The unique combination of rocks and the specific geographical location help create the best conditions for extracting fantastic water.

The source is 105m deep.

Water flows into the spring through underground cracks that were created millions of years ago. In other words, it is underground water that has been naturally filtered over a very long time that is then packaged into Aqua Nobels cartons. It is not water from the surface (which primarily supplies water to our municipalities).

The water passes through moraine, sandstone, slate, coal and gneiss before it enters the deep spring.

It takes about 100 years for each drop of water to flow down to the source.

The water is naturally enriched with Sodium, Calcium, Magnesium, Potassium, Fluoride & Iron.

Alkalinity is a measure of the water’s buffering capacity to neutralise acidification. If the water has a high alkalinity, the water has a good buffering capacity against acidification. In short, alkaline water is full of alkaline minerals, and has a pH value that is above the neutral pH, which is 7. A water with a pH less than 7 is acidic.

Aqua Nobel’s water has pH value is 8.2.

Our natural spring water (Nude 8.2) has a shelf life of two years. Aqua Nobel’s vitamin & energy drinks have a shelf life of one year, the taste of the natural aromas slowly diminishes over time because they are naturally produced not synthetically.

Unopened packaging can be stored at room temperature while opened packaging should be stored in the refrigerator for a maximum of 2 days. Our spring water (as well as our functional drinks) can be consumed at room temperature or cold, according to your own taste and preference.

To reduce our carbon footprint, we have chosen to use plastic made from Bon Sucro-certified sugarcane.

Bonsucro provides a global platform to help advance the production of sustainable sugarcane.

The packaging must be sorted as “paper packaging” and the cap as plastic. From July 3, 2024, there will be a law that the cork must remain on the packaging and the entire packaging must then be sorted as “paper packaging”.

No. Phthalates are plasticisers in plastic.

No. Sciteclab in Switzerland, has analysed 220 substances in our water, including PFAS.

PFAS is the collective name for thousands of different industrially produced chemicals. PFAS substances have been created to repel grease, dirt and water. Today there are thousands of different PFAS substances on the market. They are found, for example, in frying pans, functional clothing, shoes, furniture fabrics, ski wax, various packaging, impregnation sprays, pesticides and beauty products. PFAS are absorbed and stored in the body.

No. The products are pasteurised, therefore no preservatives are needed.

No, none of Aqua Nobel’s products contain artificial sweeteners.

No, we only add natural colors, flavours and extracts.

Both yes and no. If the package is completely filled it can over expand and affect the packaging and cork. If you freeze until “slush ice” forms, you’ve created a way to keep your delicious cold for longer.
